Get That Book out of Your Head and Onto Paper!

Hey, future author! (Yes, even if you’re struggling to claim that title.)

Have you ever sat down to finally write your story, only to end up tangled in a web of “what ifs” and endless rewrites?

You’re not alone. I’ve been exactly where you are.

I remember staring at the screen, adding scene after scene, subplot after subplot, comedic character after tragic backstory, hoping any of it would somehow fix what felt “off.” The more I worked on it, the worse and more tangled it got.

The heart of my story seemed to get buried under layers of “fluff,” and honestly?

I gave up. For a long time. Clearly, I just wasn’t cut out to be a writer, let alone an author.

If you can relate to any of these, you’re in the right place:

  • You feel overwhelmed by too many ideas and don’t know what to keep.
  • You constantly second-guess yourself, wondering if your story is even worth telling.
  • You add more and more “stuff,” but your plot only gets murkier.
  • You lose sight of your original vision and feel disconnected from your characters.
  • You doubt if you’ll ever actually finish.
  • Your story feels patchy, inconsistent, or “off.”
  • You’re exhausted from the mental rollercoaster of fixing, reworking, and doubting.
  • You can’t tell what’s essential and what’s extra anymore.
  • The project you once loved now feels like a burden.
  • You procrastinate because facing the mess feels too overwhelming.
  • You’re three hundred pages in with no idea where you’re going or how you’ll know when you’ve hit the end.

Here’s the truth:

It’s not that you’re “bad” at writing. It’s that no one ever taught you how to simplify your story so it becomes write-able.

And that’s exactly what we’re going to help you do. Because once I simplified a story idea, I managed to write my first rough draft – start to finish – in a week.

Introducing the Free Workshop: “Clear the Clutter, Write the Story”

In this free workshop, you’ll:

  • Break down your plot, characters, and setting into a clear, manageable blueprint.
  • Separate the “must-haves” from the “nice-to-haves” (and set aside the fluff for later).
  • Leave with a strategic roadmap that makes writing a story feel achievable.

Imagine sitting down to write and finally feeling… clear. Confident. Excited.

This workshop is where the chaos ends and your story begins.

Save your spot now.

Because the world needs your story — not hidden under clutter, but shining in its true form, on the shelf of your favorite library and book stores.

Upcoming Workshops

PLEASE NOTE: We recommend this workshop for those high school age and above only. We know many younger people who are also looking to get their books onto paper (and we’re working on a companion workshop for younger ages) but this workshop will pull together the basics students have learned in previous writing, grammar, and literature classes. We recommend students have a robust understanding of these subjects to get the most out of the exercises in this workshop and the Abiding Hedera Writing Program that is offered after it.

Email mail@fieldsoffavor.us to be kept in the loop of when the program for our younger authors is available.
